What can I say , I had tried several online training courses which didn't really do it , so my vet suggested Bark Busters after buddy was a real pain in the clinic. I will admit to being a little concerned as it was a lot of money and although Marks reviews where good I had read a lot of other trainers reviews that weren't so good. Any way Mark arrived we had three hours which I didn't think would be enough with a hyper active dog. Well if you are in doubt like I was , just do it . Buddy is dramatically calmer, walks to heal, no more pulling, recall is not quite there yet but we will work on it , its opnly been a few days so far. So thank you Mark I am very impressed although I will admit to missing my crazy mad puppy in a good way, but the whole of the village is impressed with buddy and what Mark at Bark Busters achieved in one session . Still things to work on but money very well spent

Our session with Mark was so valuable. It’s amazing how changing a few simple things has transformed Bear’s overall behaviour. (If only some of these tips had been taught at puppy classes!) Our biggest challenges with Bear were jumping excitedly all over visitors, territorial barking, lead pulling and chasing aggressively after bikes and motorcycles. The greeting visitors, barking and lead pulling issues have largely been resolved and we have been given tools for dealing with the bike chasing. Mark is very patient and a great teacher. Bear is well on his way to becoming a calmer, better behaved wee companion.

Mark was great and within minutes Dotti responded to him and we had a different dog. He taught us how to work with her and by the next day walking was no longer a nightmare for us. We still have work to do with the separation anxiety, but it's early days.

Well worth it

Mark and Bark Busters have saved the day and my confidence in handling my beautiful sweet 1 year old border collie x Billie Jean. Because she’s grown in a big strong dog I was struggling to walk her on the lead because of her pulling… it was becoming a danger to me and to Billie I was also becoming very frustrated…. There were other issues too that I wanted help with. Marks approach and training method was gentle but firm and I felt she has responded very well especially to the praise when she does what is asked of her … there is a huge turn around with in a couple of days and is no longer pulling on the lead or taking up her posie on the sofa and is listening to me It’s early days and I understand that she will still test me but I now have the tools to be in control instead of the other way around !! Thank you Mark for helping me to understand my beautiful girl.

Fantastic! We have had other trainers for our wee girl and didn't want to have too much hope for a new trainer. Mark has given us hope again! He equipped us with very effective tools to handle our problems and our 2 year old rescue has never been calmer. Can't wait for our second session.

Our 7 yr old Australian/Cairn Terrier is super lovable but can have a mind of his own and is territorial. Mark gave us the tools to communicate what we needed from Max so that he behaved in a better way. It quickly became apparent during the time Mark was with us that Max was keen to listen. Although we know that there is still alot of work to be done with Max, we are confident that both he, as well as us together with the on-going help from Mark, that a positive outcome will be achieved.

Mark was super generous with his time, he even called to see us on his way to an appointment to offer some advice without payment prior to us confirming a lesson, we were super impressed and engaged him to help with Sylvie. Her travel anxiety was a real worry for us which threatened to derail our caravanning plans, Mark has provided us with the tools and a plan to overcome her issues, we feel so much better and confident, which is half the battle. thank you Mark we look forward to our next catch up.

Incredibly happy with my first lesson from Mark..can totally see where I have been going wrong with koby..I have quiet a few things to tackle but mark has given me the tools in how to go about it.

Mark was incredible! When mark said the first three hour session would make a huge difference, I didn’t really expect to see so much of a change in Kygo, he’s a completely different dog. Mark gave us really simple and practical tasks to do with him, and explained the reasons behind each one. He also fitted him with a Wagg Walker harness. Highly recommend Mark and looking forward to seeing Kygo get even better over the next couple weeks. Money well spent

Unbelievable difference so quickly! Really impressed with how effective the training is, we are seeing a significant improvement in the biggest issue which was aggression with other dogs when out walking. I think if we keep up the practice we will soon be able to walk past other dogs without having a reaction. So glad we made the decision to go with Bark Busters

Tandy is a darling little 10-month-old Foxy Jack Russell cross - he’s snuggly, energetic, clever, quick to learn tricks, loves to play and run and is our best little mate. But he was very nippy with mum - constantly mouthing, nibbling and getting rougher with me as he got older. We tried puppy school, teenage puppy school and all of the tricks on the internet and while he learned all the usual commands really quickly, nothing we did stopped our little land shark! I was at my wit's end when I contacted Mark at Bark Busters. I was frustrated, there had been tears and I was exhausted trying to constantly deter Tandy from nipping at me and my clothes - which never really happened to my partner. I was getting pretty stressed out, annoyed and sad that I couldn’t seem to communicate with Tandy and I didn’t want him picking up on that and become scared, anxious or naughty with me. It felt like Tandy didn’t see me as any sort of leader, just a human chew toy! It felt like he was constantly hyped up, needed to settle and reset. Within about two minutes of arriving at our house Mark had sad the magic words and Tandy pretty much instantly started doing things very differently. We are now a week into our Bark Busters life and Tandy is so chilled, so relaxed, so calm and so responsive! We are still a work in progress but I can genuinely say he’s a different little mate from a week ago - barely a tooth has touched my skin! It’s a huge and amazing relief and we are SO thankful to Mark for teaching us how to talk to our puppy properly! We’ve also managed to significantly curb some secondary issues that were starting to emerge - barking outside, refusing to drop things he shouldn’t have. We are all SO much happier - and I SO much less exhausted now I am not constantly on guard. Thank you so much Mark! We would highly, highly recommend anyone else with pup issues (big or small) to try the Bark Busters programme. It’s phenomenal!! Mark is a legend, he was so patient, so helpful and we could not have sorted this without him!
