Mark dealt with Barking, Hyperactivity, Jumping up, Pulling, Separation anxiety

Mark was great. He came in we had a good chat about the issue we were having and gave us all the tools to start changing the unwanted behaviours.

- S.N, Aranui Christchurch (Testimonial)

Trainer note from Mark
Pippa is Staffy X 1yr old, a rehome rescue from what appears no a great background. She is fearful of visitors especially men and can be aggressive , barks at any noises , her gate , the TV, very reactive, is dog aggressive possibly from being on the streets alone, quite the anxious nervous girl. During the lesson she warmed to me slowly but always cautious. Awesome effort on Pippa's part . Great steps forward for the first lesson and I'll catch up with them soon to keep moving forward with Pippa' retraining

Mark was amazing with myself and Siku. After a very traumatic experience I feel reassured that Siku and I can progress through it with what maybe slow but consistent training. Great to know Mark is in the background if we need further assistance or have any questions.

- A.C, Spreydon Christchurch (Testimonial)

Trainer note from Mark
Siku is a lovely Pomsky who up until 5mths of age was doing fine but got attacked by two dogs on her walk. From then on the owners couldn't control her or even get her to walk outside her house and garden. Would pull constantly , very over reactive to people and especially dogs , barking manically on seeing a dog. Extremely hard to focus and control. We have done two sessions now with improvement on each . Even walked down the street twice in good control mostly. Time and consistent focused training will see her getting better each walk. She can already sit stay for the front door knock , previously impossible, walk to heel with minor distractions. She''ll be a work in progress for a while. Great work team Siku

Mark dealt with Aggression, Hyperactivity, Pulling, Recall

Mark has really helped me with my nervous dog. Since our session she has become a pleasure to walk with. She seems much more settled, relaxed and far happier. Thank you Mark, for helping me to work with my best friend.

- P.I, Christchurch (Testimonial)

Trainer note from Mark
The owner has used our services a long time ago but was struggling with his resent rehomed dogs behaviours of dog aggression toward other dogs. With in the lesson we encountered a number of dogs on a walk and she was well behaved using the Bark Busters Refocusing techniques then praise so she could relax. We'll do a revisit soon to work on any fine tuning but great work by the owner to apply our system once again.

Mark dealt with Hyperactivity, Jumping up, Puppy management, Toileting

Second time back with Mark, originally had help with my american bulldog cujo who is now doing so much better and is like a new dog. Got a puppy, Hannibal (bull terrier x staffy) who is very excitable, chases the cat and didnt understand boundaries. After only a week Hannibal now doesn't chase the cat, waits when told and is a lot more easier to train. Will always recommend Mark to everyone, he helps make training dogs simple and easy to understand. Can't wait to see how Hannibal progresses as he gets older

Trainer note from Mark
Receipt number 67573 Cujo was a dog I saw many years ago as the Owner struggled with his size and wariness of new people etc. He came across and fairly aggressive , all of which is gone now so the owner called me in very early for his new dog a Hannibal , a Staffy x Bull Terrier, great pup totally different temperament and now he can channel things in the right direction. Starting from day one is important so bad behaviours don't start and then later have to be rectified. We do have some things to cover as Hannibal is a very young pup and not fully vaxed yet. Great work with both dogs team. See you next trip to Marlborough.

Mark dealt with Aggression, Jumping up, Sibling rivalry, Other

Mark was calm, thorough and explained things clearly. He responded promptly to questions both before and after the session. I could see the dogs settle quite quickly in his presence and am already seeing huge changes in Dina's behaviour and feeling more confident that I can handle the problems we were experiencing and generally more positive about our future. It may seem like a lot of money up front, but, when you break it down to an hourly rate and recognise that you have lifetime access and we will certainly be using up more than 6 hours of his time, this compares very well with other trainers that I have engaged with previous dogs with varying success.

- P.L, Blenheim (Testimonial)

Trainer note from Mark
Dina is a Heading dog cross of dubious back ground. Rehomed in a poor state of health and very skinny so some behaviours are related to extreme hunger , recall , pulling and basic obedienc were all lacking and now much more controlled and responsive. Off lead skills are coming along very well. Her dog reactive behaviours are almost gone after just one session. Great work Dina

Mark dealt with Barking, Chewing, Jumping up, Recall, Separation anxiety

It was a very positive experience. I feel I have some real tools to start to address the behaviour. We were a bit overwhelmed with Bens behaviours.

- E.A, Picton (Testimonial)

Trainer note from Mark
Ben is a Rottweiler , unfortunately with some motor skills cognitive issues but still quite a handful when he's feeling cheeky. The owners haven't stuck a cocky temperament dog before so as a 6mth pup he was needing some professional guidance . Response on the day was slow but progressive . He's a work n progress hence the lifetime support back up . I'll be seeing him again shortly to take further focus steps and curb his excitability and boisterous manner more.

Mark dealt with Aggression, Barking, Hyperactivity, Jumping up, Pulling, Puppy management

I have two 12 month old Coltriever pups who were getting a bit boisterous around the house and hard to handle out on walks. Mark sussed them out very fast and after our first visit we learnt how even small tweaks to our daily household lifes can be valuable training tools for the pups. He left us with the knowledge to keep their energy levels down and they have been a joy to walk ever since. I would highly recommend Mark to anyone wanting a better relationship with their dog. The home visit is invaluable with Mark being able to see your own family dynamics. I look forward to learning more in his next visit.

Trainer note from Mark
Trooper and Rey were quite full on and pretty much running the house. Both very different temperaments but also both clever Collie brains. After explaining the way, they think and apply our speak dog to teach dog process the household has calmed dramatically, and only fine tuning is left as well as Reys dog overreactive tendencies. A good response in the lesson and some back up for the owners and things are looking up.

Mark was incredible! I have 2 very naughty boys and I couldn’t even believe how much we accomplished in the first session! I would 100% recommend this training to anyone considering. I wish we reached out sooner!

Trainer note from Mark
Troper and Dexter are two large breed dogs , Border Collie x Golden retriever and Border Collie . Both anxious of the new 9mth old baby but also dogs who generally were in charge of the house. Greta 1st lesson and some awesome skills being applied by the owners has started the compliant , more relaxed household already. Some more work is required but the dogs are much less reactive to the baby soon to be toddlers movements and noises. Lots of other issues have been dealt with as well and I'm looking forward to the next session to fine tune the owners further. Greta work guys , catch up soon.

Mark really knows and understands dogs. He understands their personality and recognizes the reasons for the behavior then explains it all, with no judgment. A very positive experience, looking forward to the next training session early February. Thanks Mark.

- D.G, Seddon Marlborough (Testimonial)

Trainer note from Mark
Our first lesson was a remote video lesson to get the ball rolling before a face to face lesson was possible. Zed is a rottweiler x Staffy 7yrs old , barker at the gate pulls ,very attention seeking and due to Xmas incident I was called to help out and get him better with his pushy behaviours. The lesson went well but he definitely a pushy boy and a bit stubborn. Next lesson will be face to face and should iron out most of the issues.

Mark did a great job in helping us to improve the way we were managing our puppy. His approach of explaining, showing then coaching ensured success quickly. I was surprising how when the tools he taught us were used we could see fast and effective results.

- S.M, Fendalton CHRISTCHURCH (Testimonial)

Trainer note from Mark
Ollie is a 4mth old Hungarian Vizsla , not this owners first as they have had several over the years . Young Ollie was testing them though so They called up a helping hand . We'll do several sessions as he grows mentally and physically but so far a great start to a well behaved pup. Puppy pproblems and separation the major issues and developing Ollies focus is vital. ice job team Ollie.
